Android was originally designed for cameras, not smartphone

According to founder Andy Rubin (Android operating system’s founder), Android was originally designed as platform that used to connecting digital cameras to PCs, before they discovered potentials for a smartphone operating system. So, not only the digital camera market, they wanted as many cell phones to use Android operating system as possible, then the company gave it away for free. Now, Android is so popular in the cell phone market, 3rd companies turned it back to the first and original way: Android camera, such as smartpPolaroid iM1836 and Samsung Galaxy Camera.

Outlook.com app for Android devices get updated

Yesterday, Microsoft has announced to us its new update for Outlook.com app for Android that come with new user interface and vary of new features. The new user interface coming with the same great look and feel on Windows 8 with this new user interface from Outlook.com Android app. Beside that, Microsoft has added a vary of other features such as conversation threading, filters and ability to mark message as junk. You can now get this update from Google Play.

Rumor: Apple iPhone 5S with 12-megapixel camera and low light mode improvements

According to the report from iPhoneInCanada, the next generation of iPhone (maybe called as Apple iPhone 5S), also known as low cost iPhone, will be feature a 12-megapixel camera with improved low light mode. But the source of this report still not confirmed yet but surely that Apple need to improve its camera-on-device with low light shooting mode, to compared to the Nokia Lumia 920 which has better low light performance. Apple updates iPhone and Aperture for Mac with Photo Stream improvements, bug fixes, Safari and Java

Apple has recently pushed software update packages for Mac version of iPhone and Aperture that focus on bug fixes and improvements. Both of these Mac-apps updates focus on improvements and fixes for Photo Stream integration such as iPhone now to be more easier to delete images or export it from Photo Stream. Meanwhile, the Aperture software has a bug fixes that related to Shared Photo Streams. Safari and Java were also get update to improve security.

Oregon Scientific is now preparing to release its latest Android 4.0-based tablet, called the MEEP!, which designed specially for kids. Powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor with a 512MB of RAM, the MEEP! features a 7-inch touchscreen display with 800 x 480 of resolution, a 4GB of internal storage. This tablet also has a microSD card slot which can helps to expand the storage space, up to 32GB, with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera; preinstalled Yahoo! Kids, Parental Control. SSD for bellow $1 per GB from Crucial ?

Crucial has recently announced that it has begun selling their latest solid state disks (SSDs), the M500 that uses 20nm MLC NAND from Micron with Micron SSD controller. The Crucial M500 could reach to speeds of 500MB per second for reading and 400MB per second for writing, but most important factor is about the capacities. The M500 is available in standard capacities such as 120GB and 240GB, or large capacities like 480GB. However, alongside, the M500 is also available in the top-end of capacities: 960GB. The manufacturer suggest prices are $599.99 for the 960GB (62¢ per raw GB), $399.99 for the 480GB (about 83¢ per raw GB), $219.99 for the 240GB (about 91¢ per raw GB) and $129.99 for the 120GB (about $1 per raw GB).
