Sony Ericsson X10 family to get Android 2.1 in Q4 2010

According information from Sony Ericsson blog that Sony Ericsson X10 family getting Android 2.1 in Q4 2010, adding new features including HD video recording, updating the X10 range’s Android 1.6 OS in the process.

The three type of the X10 series are: The X10, X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro will be running with Android 2.1 in Q4 of 2010. “We can also confirm that the Xperia X10 mini and Xperia X10 mini pro will be upgraded to Android version 2.1, during Q4 2010.”

Also, this upgrade will include update for wireless home connectivity via DLNA and improvements to signature applications Timescape and Mediascape to make them even smarter and richer.
