Acer T231H multitouch monitor hits Europe

Acer has finally announced new multitouch monitor T231H in Europe. It’s a 23-inch monitor with 1920 x 1080 pixels, full HD resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 2ms response time and has both DVI and HDMI connectors. The Acer T231H sells for 329 Euro ( about $430 ).

The monitor has a maximum brightness of 300 cd/m2 and features the Adaptive Contrast Management (ACM) technology, which can dynamically adjust the contrast of the screen in order to enhance the sharpness of the images. To be more precise, the DCR (dynamic contrast ratio) is of 80,000:1. Furthermore, end-users will likely be pleased to hear that the response time of the display is only 2ms. Nevertheless, these are not the real selling points. What is most important is that the TN panel actually integrates multi-touch capabilities. This means that buyers will benefit from a new level of interactivity.
