Toshiba to launch Android tablet PC in September – October

Toshiba will launch their first tablet PC model which is running with Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor, Android OS and a 10-inch screen in September – October 2010. And Toshiba plan to global shipments until the end of 2010, expected to be 40,000 – 50,000 units.

What about other brands ?

Acer is set to launch the Qualcomm CPU with Android model by the end of 2010. Lenovo is also set to launch its first tablet PC by the end of 2010. Asustek’s Eee Pad will not be ready until March 2011. HP is expected to launch an Android/ARM tablet PC that it will bundle with a printer in September.
