Philips To Launch A New LCD Monitor In Europe
Philips is preparing to launch a new LCD monitor dubbed as the 225PL2 in the European market. The 225PL2 22-inch LED backlight monitor makes use of PowerSensor technology that will automatically reduce monitor brightness when user steps away from the desk.
It also provides 1680 x 1050 native resolution, 5ms response time, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. This widescreen monitor also comes with a number of connectivity ports including D-Sub, DVI-D, four USB 2.0 and audio in/out.
The Philips 225PL2 will start shipping in Europe from September for 219 EURO or about $278.
