As we expected before, the HTC Desire now finally coming to the U.S market, through US Cellular carrier network for $199.95 with two year on contract, after $70 mail in rebate.
But seem this version of the Desire isn’t comes with AMOLED display anymore. For replacement, HTC has switched to Super LCD display from Sony. It also has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi.
The HTC Desire is pre-installed Android 2.1, and no plan for upgrade to latest version, Froyo yet.
